Why don't people who believe in god take global warming seriously?

they allways say god will decide when the world will end, when in reality global warming is allready destroying our planet, maybe a lot of bussiness people believe in god so if the denounce that industry is the major cause of global warming they might make less prophit.what do they believe in god or money in that case?
