Why do men obbsese over sports?

my dad is soooo atached to whatching football, nascar raceing and hockey. if u even try to get him away from the tv he will be so mad! i can get punished for talking to him while hes whacthing it! he will say "shhh im whacthing the game!" whats so fun about whatch cars going around in circles! "oh look he made a left turn!" "oh look he made a nother left turn!" "ohh i wonder which way hes gona turn?!" i mean i like playing sports but whats the point of whacthing them? i dont obssess with shoping i mean i would stop shoping i dont have to go shoping! but my dad HAS to whatch the game?
