Will my insurance allow me to get a different phone or simply replace my old one with same model?

i currently have the LG chocolate BL40 on a �30 month contract with 02. I also have an insurance plan with the carphone warehouse. Recently i broke the screen on the phone and had it sent away with a number of faults that even existed before i broke the screen. Yesterday i received a call from the repair team saying that they are unable to fix the phone and that if i come into store they will replace the handset. Unfortunately i am unable to get into the store due to snowy conditions and no one from store is available to answer queries. When i go into store will i only get the option of getting a new BL40 handset or would i be able to select a different handset of similar value or pay the difference if a new handset costs more?
