Rafa wins his first match....by retirement. Thoughts on how he played?

that was strange to see him win by retirement in his first match back, but a win is a win. hopefully ferrer recovers from his knee injury. rafa's timing on his serve and his shots are off, but it's fine i think. with a few more matches, i think he'll be a bit more pinpoint on serve and his groundstrokes.
