I just cannot TELL! dammit?

Me and this guy are both new to our HS. I am a senior and he is a junior, so I approached him sitting alone and since then just us two been hanging out. Well its been a week or so and today at lunch he asked if I was ticklish and starting tickling me! It was weird! We layed in the gr and talked, he let me braid a piece of his hair and than he tickled me again! I asked him for a pen and he said after school he will give me one. I dont understand why? We hugged longer than usual and he hugged my waist. Why? Does he like me? I cannot tell honestly. We NEVER text, and I know he texts people (and yes we have eachothers number)
