Will you guys let me do 3 for one?

Hey people! I have 3 questions and i'm hoping that you have time to give me 3 answers. You can make them short or long, just answer. First; do clutches need tune-ups? Second; i drive 120 miles per day to work, and i drive a 4 cyl. Should i get a heavier weight of oil instead of 5w30? Third; my mechanic changed the resonator in my car, and now everytime i drive it and it gets hot, it makes a ticking sound. Is this normal for a new resonator? He says it'll go away in a month or so, but i don't like it! A friend said that he may have used a generic res instead of one for my ford.
