Poll: I'm writing an allegorical story about 9/11 and I really need help?

Our ignment is to write an allegroical story for English, seeing as how we just read Orwell's Animal Farm. The only problem is, that we have to use animals and I chose animals found in the rainforest to represent the actual people but, how could I make a parallel to the towers and the attacks on them, as well as the airplanes? I'm completely confused and I have no idea how to parallel everything. Any ideas? Thanks!
