What is the circle in the front bumper of the Scion Tc's purpose??

Odd question, I know, but I just got an '06 TC and it's been bugging me. There's only one circle, at least put another circle on the other side of the damn bumper?! Seriously though, what's it for? Is it there for an upgrade option? Maybe a light or something?
