My boyfriend tells me i have "bad music" so im seeking to find some new "good" music, help?

so because your boyfriend doesnt like your music thats wrong??? why cant you have your own identity? its rediculous just listen to the music that you like, why should you change your taste in music just cus of your boyfriend?
