Black Ops wont fit in my GameCube?

Right, so I went out to GameStatin today and bought this new Black Ops game. When I got home I discovered something - IT DOESNT FIT IN MY GAMECUBE!! My friend told me that the disc was for the PS3, and was too big for the GameCube. Now I don't know exactly what a PS3 is, but I can only ume its a type of car, or train or something. Anyways, he said the disc was too big, so i cut around its edges to make it smaller, and guess what, it didn't work! I tried everything, I tried squashing my game cube flat to enlarge the disk space, but this did not work. In fact, after this, the GameCube wouldn't even turn on! I was frustrated, so i tried submerging the console in hot liquid tar, because I heard that the PS3 car or train or whatever was black. After this, i went home to try it out, and guess what. My dog had chewed up the disc! So now i can't play Black Ops on my GameCube. Please help me I don't know what to do, and i fear that if this problem isn' solved, the world will implode. Please help me find the solution, it will be greatly appreciated.
